Internal rules

  1. Upon entering the premises of Iyengar yoga Institute Praha (further „IY“) is each client required to deposit their outdoor shoes at the designated place in the proximity of the reception desk.
  2. Clients can deposit clothing at the lockers provided for such purpose. The locker key can be obtained from the IY reception desk upon payment of the entry fee and against a deposit of 100 CZK or of the client card. When leaving the locker-room the client is required to empty the locker and to return the key to the IY reception desk personnel. The client is responsible for the locker and the locker key during the entire visit of the IY. A penalty of 500 CZK shall be charged upon loss of the key or damage to the lock.
  3. The clients are obliged to pay special attention in the locker rooms and their presence there is at their own risk.
  4. IY does not take any responsibility for any valuables deposited in the locker (such as identification documents, keys, valuables, jewelry, money, payment cards, laptops and other items). It is recommended to use a safety deposit box located at the reception desk for any valuable items. The entry into the studio as well as the IY reception area are monitored. Should theft or loss of personal property occur, the client is obliged to inform the reception staff and to contact the police without delay. No notice shall be taken of a delayed report of such theft or loss.
  5. Each client wishing to use her/his credit shall present either a client card or another similiar personal identification card.
  6. Only the clients who have either paid an appropriate ammount for the lesson at the reception desk or were explicitely so instructed by a member of IY staff, may enter the excercise room.
  7. The entry into the excercise room is permitted only without shoes and in a suitable sports outfit.
  8. Exercise undertaken by the client shall not endanger client’s own health nor the health of other clients. Each client is fully responsible for its own health condition and IY does not accept any liability for the clients‘ health. Any injury must be reported immediately to the member of the reception destk or to any other teacher present.
  9. Yoga lessons are carried out under the supervision of qualified instructors and each client is obliged to follow their instructions relating to the practice as well as to the props used during the practice. IY does not accept any liability for injuries caused or any other damage if the instructions are not followed.
  10. Use of all furnishings and equipment of IY by the clients is at their own risk.
  11. At the end of the lesson each client shall tidy up all of the props used.
  12. Clients are obliged to observe relevant fire regulations, to treat the property of IY responsibly and to keep the premises of IY clean and tidy.
  13. At the IY studio, it is forbidden to:
    • consume own food;
    • smoke or otherwise deal with open fire; or
    • use or consume alcoholic drinks or any narcotics or other psychotropic substances.
  14. It is permitted to consume only non-alcoholic drinks in plastic packaging at the IY premises.
  15. It is forbidden to [make dirty] or damage equipment and premises of IY studio.
  16. Clients shall be liable for any damage caused by breach of these internal rules and for any loss or damage to the property of IY, up to the full amount, and even if the damage was caused without intention.
  17. Client that does not observe these internal rules may be expelled from the IY studio by IY personnel.
  18. By her/his entry and stay in the IY studio for the purpose of taking part in yoga lessons, each client confirms, that she/he has read these internal rules and agrees to respect and observe them.
  19. These internal rules IY shall be valid and in force from December 1, 2018.
