What I like about yoga is the precise setup and focus on small details that bring a whole new dimension to the asanas. I can feel how it removes old habits and poor posture and gradually releases stiffness, which improves body mobility. I usually feel a lightening and calming of the mind after a class.

Through yoga I am getting to know my body and it is also leading me to a better perception of it. It improves my mindfulness, which I try to carry over into everyday life. I take yoga practice as a compensation to my workload and as a prevention of possible later illnesses and an enrichment of my life.In turbulent times, yoga leads me to connect with myself and to realize what is really important to me. Thanks to Iyengar yoga, I started to feel good in my body.

I enjoy the practice of Iyengar Yoga and am curious to see how far I will go on my yoga journey.
