When I was little, I used to love to stand on my head – for a long time, happily and regularly. Wherever, whenever. In a way, this was my first regular, though unknown, practise of asanas☺ - I watch the same happening with my son now…

I liked to move, I danced, rode a bike, swam, climbed and walked in the mountains. Then I stopped feeling safe in the heights, hurt my knee and the question then was – what next? Partly by accident I ended up at a lesson of power yoga. Other styles followed – ashtanga, vinyasa, Bikram.

And then Iyengar. Everyting felt like first time again, except that the practising of asanas began to make sense. I have not the smallest doubt of the effectivity of the Iyengar method. I especially value its therapeutic benefits.

Miracles certainly do not happen overnight, you need to give your practice time. And if you are still looking – do not give up yoga because of one style or one teacher.

Each time you stand on the yoga mat, you face a perfect mirror – not only for your body, but also for your life on a personal and general level.

Yoga is one of the best things that has happened to me in my life!
